Skylark Homes worked alongside the developers of Ashlin Farm Barns to ensure we captured their vision and delivered a project to an exceptionally high standard.
The project consisted of the design and construction of 24 luxury holiday cottages which are located in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. The development included 2, 3, 4 & 5 bedroom spacious holiday cottages, complete with large open plan living areas, log burning stoves, private swim spar and countryside views. Each bedroom has been uniquely and individually designed, and includes an en-suite for each guest. Picnic benches are positioned around the new pond which sits central to the site and attracts an abundance of wildlife.

We were appointed as main contractor by Platform Housing Group for the development of Roman Fields. This project was situated close to the Lincolnshire Wolds in the town of Market Rasen.
This 32 plot development consisted of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom properties. The development offered a range of shared ownership homes and affordable rental properties to suit the requirements of Platform Housing Group.
The site was fittingly named ‘Roman Fields’ as the area is well known for its historic Roman industrial connections. An archaeological dig was carried out on site prior to construction which unearthed ancient pottery artifacts that have now been preserved.
Situated on the east of Lincoln city, Manvers Court consisted of 1 & 2 bedroom terraced homes.
Skylark Homes was appointed as main contractor on behalf of our repeat client, Platform Housing Group to deliver 9 properties for affordable rent.
This project was challenging due to the size and gradient of the site. Construction work was also within a busy residential area so we quickly established a good rapport with local residents. We maintained regular communication to ensure residents were notified of any proposed works in advance throughout the development stage. Our team was able to complete the development early, and within budget to create modern homes that remained in keeping with existing properties in the local area.
